What to see
Thomas Chaucer's House & servants' Cottage
Park Street
Woodstock
(Note: This is a private residence and is not open to the public)

Thomas was almost certainly the son of poet Geoffrey Chaucer author of The Canterbury Tales.
Like his father, he sat in Parliament, was Speaker in the House of Commons, local landowner and died a rich man.

In the photograph, Chaucer's House is on the left and Chaucer's Cottage,
i.e. servants' quarters are on the right after the arched entry.
